The SIGINT Front Office is seeking a highly qualified and energetic Lead Special Assistant to serve in the SIGINT Front Office (SIFO) supporting the Director, SIGINT (D/SIGINT). This individual must be highly organized and a self-starter that displays initiative, diplomacy and strong collaboration skills.
This position requires the incumbent to demonstrate an understanding of SIGINT organizational objectives when prioritizing, scheduling, and/or de-conflicting meetings. In addition, they must be able to network and interact with senior leaders, including other DoD and IC Seniors and the NRO Front Office, and their executive staffs to ensure close coordination on all scheduling, documentation, record-keeping, and logistical requirements.
The incumbent of this position will serve as the Lead Special Assistant and directly supervise one other administrative assistant on the SIFO staff as well as overseeing Government and contractor administrative assistants in the Directorate. This position requires the demonstrated ability and expertise to lead, manage, and mentor.
In addition, the incumbent of this position will have portfolio management responsibilities that include, but are not limited to establishing and formalizing standard operating procedures for the SIGINT Front Office administrative functions, and setting expectations and strategic objectives for a robust administrative team as well as event coordination and management.
This is a high-level support position requiring the individual to be mission-focused, results-oriented, and flexible in order to meet the challenges and ever-changing needs of the organization. This position requires the ability to maintain an excellent working relationship with the entire management team and agency.
Due to the highly sensitive nature of this position, the successful candidate must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
