Description
The Field Sales Person is responsible for the primary sales and marketing of all Noble services and products to the oil & gas operators at the well site, rig site and field offices. The Field Sales Person is the primary custodian of the Noble image with his/her respective client. He/she ensures that Noble is always held in the highest regard, both technically and interpersonally by becoming personally acquainted with key personnel in his/her client’s organizations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
· Builds and maintains customers relationships through in-person visits, phone calls, emails, and by attending Customer/Noble sanctioned events.
· Travel to customer locations is required. Often drives 6-10 hours per day. Company vehicle provided. Overnight stays may be required.
· Load and secure tools for transport to Noble or Customer location as requested.
· Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
· Facilitates resolution of technical and business issues of prospective customers.
· Provides product information and/or demos to qualified customers on request.
· Emphasizes saleable features, quotes prices and credit terms in conjunction with CSO and DM and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
· Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
· Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of Noble’s work and delivery schedules.
· Prepares reports of business transactions.
· Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
· Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
Requirements
Specific Job Duties
Primary focus will be visiting, documenting, and selling Well Services in Williston, Glendive and Dickinson.
- Be available for customer issues and/or concerns on a 24/7 basis. Assist with the resolution and follow up to ensure customer is satisfied with result or is in fully understanding of the situation.
- Well Services District Managers and the Chief Sales Officer will work with Field Sales employees via phone call, text and/or email every Monday a.m. or Sunday p.m. to develop a plan for each week.
- Communicate daily with District Managers on all location activity.
- Help with customer appreciation by delivering food and picking up of materials brought in to cater the event.
- Communicate via WhatsApp on all rig visits and stops.
- Work with local management on RFP’s creation and submittals.
- Attend weekly sales meetings.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of 3 years selling experience in the oil and gas industry.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
