Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

We are adding a Senior Cloud Engineer to the team. This qualified individual will be responsible for designing and managing cloud-based systems for our customers organizations. They collaborate with teams to identify optimal solutions, modify systems, and ensure they meet the organization’s needs.

 

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
• Deploys, debugs, and executes initiatives related to cloud computing, including modular, container base solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based systems, ensuring efficient data storage and adherence to security policies
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions
• Interact with customers, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on customer needs
• Modify and improve existing enterprise cloud solutions
• Educate customer developer teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience or a Masters Degree and 6 years of experience. Additional years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree.
• Proven work experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
• Must have Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS experience
• Relevant training and/or certifications
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant and current industry certifications such as those provided by AWS and Azure are preferred 
• Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes is preferred
• DevOps CI/CID pipeline development experience preferred

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
