Prairie Farms Dairy – Field Representative

Work & Travel Location: Central to Eastern WI down to NE Illinois. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Job Requires 75% travel within 200 mile radius in Southeast WI/Milwaukee area. Company Vehicle is provided.
• Achieve Account Specific Sales & Goals
• Maintain Strong Relationships w/ Key Account Managers working closely with them to execute all parts of the Sales Plan.
• Weekly Key Account Store Visits
• Monthly Price Checks
• Execute Promotional Planning for Key Accounts Working with Buyer/Director
• Set-Up Business Review Meetings w/ Key Account Buyers/Director’s
• Work with BDM and Senior Analyst to create Account specific Category Insights
• Set Up/ Prepare for Working Meetings w/ Key Accounts; new and follow up business
• Attend/Participate in Sales Meetings as Scheduled
• Presentation of New Items/Lines to Customers
• Assist CSRs as needed with Customer Issues/Questions/Quality
• Review/Monitor sales for Key accounts, Weekly/Monthly, by Item
• Work through challenges/ Issues that arise to effectively address and resolve
• Ordering and stocking will be required with certain accounts
• Other duties as assigned

 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft business suite and have the ability to learn other software inventory and record keeping programs.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to use an electronic ordering device for inventory.
• Must be able to diagrams and written instructions.
• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Excellent verbal communication skills both in-person and over the phone.
• Coachable and willing to learn.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in the English language

Physical Requirements:

S(he) will be required to climb, crawl and walk in an upright as well as a bent position when placing stock on shelves or racks, setting up merchandise and sales promotion displays, issuing sales promotion materials to customers, and collecting or picking up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise. The Merchandiser will have to stack and unstack items weighing up to 50 pounds. S(he) will also at times be required to work in coolers or freezers with temperatures less than 32 degrees. Travel is required, this may result in long drives/rides.
