Phelps Health is looking for a Board-certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with previous Emergency Department experience! The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for comprehensive direct patient care management and will manage a caseload of patients by exercising autonomous decision making in the assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of delegated medical treatments. 

Responsibilities include:

• Performing medical screening exams
• Providing primary care to patients
• Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
• Performing initial examinations
• Recording patient medical histories
• Performing routine lab tests
