Job Title
QA Documentation Associate IResponsible for providing administrative support and day-to-day operations in the Quality Assurance Department.Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinates with process owners to ensure controlled document changes are clear and appropriate.
- Manages controlled documents using Document Management System software.
- Provides Document Management System software user training and support for all document owners.
- Writes, prepares, and edits all Quality System documents, such as forms, procedures, control plans, work instructions, policies, etc.
- Supports all documentation needs as assigned.
- Creates and updates manuals as needed.
- Maintains Document Management performance metrics.
- Tracks the release status of Quality Assurance documents (Procedures, Work Instructions, control plans, forms, etc.).
- Performs filing and/or records maintenance for the Quality Assurance Department and other team members, as needed.
- Assists Quality Assurance Department by developing and generating reports to identify trends and facilitate corrective action/quality improvements.
- Supports and assists the team with customer interactions and communication and assists with Structured Problem-Solving activities and associated documentation needs.
- Partners with the technical trainer (where applicable) and/or Quality Team to update the training management system when document revisions are complete and provides training for document updates, when necessary.
- Completes data entry for Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Safety functions, such as kiln reports, scrap reports, returned goods, corrective actions, SPC, Near Miss reports, completed Foresights, etc.
- Prepares reports for management as requested.
- Supports all team members with general administrative functions, such as supply ordering, meeting organization, presentation editing, data entry, etc.
- Assists and/or performs tasks in all areas of need as assigned.
- Works any shift/day as required to support team success.
Education
- High School Diploma/GED
Experience
- 2 years of experience in related field
Functional/Technical Knowledge, skills, abilities
- Performs tasks utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Performs detail-oriented tasks using intermediate math skills.
- Possesses a basic understanding of measuring equipment used for inspection and testing.
- Possesses strong multi-tasking and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Performs tasks utilizing Windows, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- Works effectively with a diverse group
