Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Director, the Student Financial Services Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the Disbursements, University Collections, and Federal Trust Student Aid Accounting departments. The position also oversees key service areas, as needed, including Student Account Services and Cashiering departments. The Manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of all student financial operations, while fostering compliance with federal, state, and university regulations. In addition, this role leads the enhancement, integration, and implementation of financial systems and technologies to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and support the university’s fiscal and student success goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the management and oversight of Disbursements, University Collections, and Federal Trust Student Aid Accounting departments operations and functions along with overseeing other service areas, as needed, including Student Account Services and Cashiering departments.
  • Involvement in the implementation of new functionality and upgrades related to the student and financial systems.
  • Provides support to the office through additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.

  • Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is $7,955 - $9,885 per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.
