About this role:

This 2025 Spring Homestead High School Career Internship program provides a unique opportunity for a High School student to gain hands-on experience in the field of sales, marketing, engineering and business development. This role will provide practical learning experience that will complement academic studies, preparing students for a successful career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with our industry-leading Sales Professionals and manufacturing team on key customer projects.

• Gain an understanding of the technical design aspects of our products through lab and engineering projects.

• Be exposed to the many facets of UTEC's businesses: Service, Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and much more. You will assist the UTEC team with tasks deeply rooted in each of these facets.

• Learn our business from numerous internal perspectives as you assist other vital departments to achieve customer goals.

• Develop communication, project management skills, and sales/engineering experience.

• Study and apply expertise using SAP, Windchill, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Gain an understanding of the HVAC market.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a current Senior in High School

• Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good organization skills

• Good customer service

• Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite
