POSITION PURPOSE: 

Responsible for patient-facing registration and associated tasks which include information collection and validation and requisitioning of orders and services. Insurance-related tasks include verification, collection of co-payments, and collection of associated paperwork.

  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Obtain and verify patient information for registration.
2. Request payment of financial responsibility from patient/guarantor.
3. Obtain federally-required and hospital-required consents
4. Reconcile daily bank bags.
5. Post monies collected and/or data entry or charge codes to financial system.
6. Work in various patient settings and locations.
7. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.
8. Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.

• Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.

Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.   Education:

• Must be currently enrolled in the Career Wise Apprenticeship Program.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour.

Hourly Pay:$20—$20 USD
