Registered Nurse BH Charge (63287)

Salary Range:  $57.50 - $68.00 per hour (Depending on years of experience)

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.   We are currently seeking a Full-time Charge RN to join our Behavioral Health team at Patuxent Institution located in Jessup, Maryland. 

The Behavioral Health Charge RN is responsible for providing supervision of nursing and support staff on assigned shift in correctional setting. Additional responsibilities include providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients. The Charge RN works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify and respond to a wide range of physical and mental health needs.

Full-time Evening Shift 4:00pm - 12:30am

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland; BSN preferred but not required
• Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Experience working in a correctional or behavioral health environment preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
