Evereve’s Accountant will help with many different functions on the finance team. This person will assist with invoice processing, daily accounting functions, reconcilations and contribute to the finance team on other projects as assigned. Reporting to the Senior Director of Accounting, this position will work collaboratively with the finance team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Payment Processing
  • Compile invoices for weekly payments
  • Work with various departments for proper account coding and approvals
  • Enter in payments and assist with weekly check runs
• General Ledger
  • Prepare and input journal entries
  • Prepare account reconciliations
  • Assist with month and year end close 
  • Prepare various reconciliation schedules between the General Ledger and the Point-of-Sale/ERP system
• Miscellaneous
  • Work with stores to obtain transaction and sales details when needed
  • Assist with calling state and local juristictions for government reporting needs
  • Complete bank reconciliations

Other Responsibilities May Involve:

• Assist with special projects as they arise
• Assist with month end or year end accounting and audit tasks
• Responsibilities may shift to align with changing business needs

Requirements

• A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Accounting and/or a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics accounting software (preferred but not required)
• Developed organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Self-directed, driven and ready to take ownership and initiative
• Able to meet deadlines, stay focused, multitask, and prioritize tasks in order of importance in a dynamic, high-energy, fast paced environment
• Develop healthy and supportive working relationships with management, vendors and clients to maximize productivity and collaboration
• Ability to problem solve; and find ways to streamline processes; and research state and local taxes and regulations
• Enjoys working in a dynamic, growing, entrepreneurial company in the company of a primarily women-based team environment
