CI SBH offers a range of investment strategies and customized solutions for institutional and intermediary clients, including domestic, international, and global equity, in addition to fixed income and alternatives. CI SBH is a subsidiary of CI Financial Corp.CI SBH is seeking an Associate, Institutional Relations.  The position’s objectives are to work with the external sales professionals and help gain and retain clients on SBH’s behalf. This entrepreneurial role requires a high-level of attention to detail, while working with Institutional Investors and coordinating their needs with external sales staff, marketing, internal client relations, compliance and portfolio managers.Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee communication and nurture relationships with investors, including handling investor requests for information; develop appropriate messages for the investment community and ensure that communications are disseminated promptly, efficiently, and in accordance with all regulations
  • Analyze competitor positions to help sales staff improve new business win rate, as well as evaluate appropriate universes to help identify future sales opportunities.
  • Assist with clients and consultant due diligence onsite visits and quarterly update meetings.
  • Work closely with portfolio managers and marketing on product specific messaging, as it relates to new business presentations and quarterly outlook. 
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients’ performance attributes and quarterly write ups.  
  • Respond to investor diligence questions, DDQs and review high priority RFPs.
  • Maintain and create Salesforce data and Dashboards for sales staff.
  • Establish the Investor Client Relations organizational goals, objectives, and operating procedures
  • Event management for current and prospective investors
  • Conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience. 
  • Licensed or willingness to be licensed Series 7, 63
  • Asset Management or investment consulting background would be ideal.

The pay range for this position is $100,000– $120,000 per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experiencePhysical Requirements
  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
