Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator - Per Diem 8 hours day

The Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator serves as an essential link and resource between the medical staff and hospital management to coordinate the operational processes and medical staff governance functions of the medical staff.
Minimum Education:High School or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
2 years Experience working in a medical staff office. OR
3 years Experience working in a healthcare setting which is related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Minimum Skills:
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and performing Internet Research.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Medical terminology.
Experience with Publisher, Credentialing software (MDStaff) and Quickbooks.
Administrative Assistant and/or Secretarial education experience.
Preferred Certifications:
Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (NAMSS)
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (NAMSS)
