Who You Are

The Team Lead will support workflows and customer requests related to Justworks’ MDV, COBRA and FSA/HSA benefits, ensuring the team is supported through ongoing training and assistance with complex issues. They will work closely with the Operations Manager to highlight trends and opportunities for process improvements. This position will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day productivity and support of a number of different processes related to benefits operations. The Team Lead will work closely with Sales, Customer Support, Engineering, and Legal teams at Justworks. The ideal candidate will have a desire to help others, a curiosity to learn, and an interest in supporting and mentoring others.
Your Success Profile
What You Will Work On
- Oversee day-to-day team operations including:
- Lead daily stand-ups with the team, providing time sensitive updates
- Review incoming Jira tickets, ensuring they are properly categorized and triaged to team members
- Support associates with complex requests
- Identify aging tickets and collaborate with owners to resolve the tickets within SLA
- Routinely check the work product of all team members to ensure accuracy and discover learning opportunities
- Monitor workload and ticket volume handled by team members
- Consistently evaluate current processes and create new policies surrounding the benefits managed by our team
- Communicate trends and issues in everyday workflow to manager to seek resources or solutions
- Consistently maintain and improve reference and training materials
- Tracking KPIs and reporting on them monthly
- Develop and execute training and onboarding plans for new hires and existing team members
- Foster coaching relationships with team members through regular check-ins
- Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with internal teams like Product, CSO and Sales
- Collaborate with Product Analysts to identify the need for engineering intervention and escalate accordingly
- Perform other related responsibilities as needed based on department and/or organizational needs.
