As a Calibration Integration Engineer, you will be the interface between the calibration engineers and the infrastructure software development teams. You will be responsible for the integration and testing of the infrastructure calibrations into the embedded SDV controls and provide system level expertise to verify controller operation for calibration troubleshooting vehicle level issues and develop recommended solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional with calibration teams and software teams to define and document thorough and efficient calibration test scenarios both for benches, simulation and vehicle environments.
- Verify calibration functionality on benches, simulation, or vehicles using advanced testing methods and tools on time and with quality to meet program milestones.
- Troubleshoot, identify and root-cause problems in calibrations, system features, controller hardware, software, test scripts, etc. that result in system operation that does not meet the design intent.
- Work/support calibration technical specialists to resolve challenging issues, working to create a robust method to predict and prevent calibration integration issues, developing robust system issue resolving techniques and technology.
- Develop automated calibration test procedures that can be run on benches and/or vehicles
- Support and debug the automatic generation of calibration and provide feedback to calibration automation engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Software, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
- 2+ years of professional experience in software development, CI/CD, or DevOps.
- Proficiency in Python and C, and experience with software development and testing.
- Ability to independently identify and pursue automation opportunities.
- Strong sense of ownership, creativity, and commitment to timely delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related engineering or computer science field.
- 5+ years of experience in software integration and CI/CD or DevOps environments.
- Automotive software calibration experience
- Experience in using INCA tool for calibrations
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Strong project management skills, including planning and prioritization.
