Planner, Retail Men’s Bags
Primary Purpose: The Planner for Men’s Bags (briefcases, backpacks, totes, portfolios, etc) on the Global Merchandise Planning team will support the formulation of the global assortment throughout the phases of the product lifecycle, beginning with pre-season line planning and extending through in-season sales performance and trend analysis. The Planner will partner with key partners on the Global Merchandising and Business Unit teams to ensure growth targets are achieved. This position will report to the Director of Retail Leathergoods.

Provide seasonal, global financial framework for Men’s Bags assortment

Drive global investments against key product strategies across markets, leveraging strong business partnerships to maximize sales and productivity while maintaining global message

Succinctly summarize global sales plans, highlighting areas of risk and opportunity

Partner to provide global product lifecycle guidance

Analyze and identify global and regional product trends through weekly and monthly reporting, and apply to short- and long-range product plans

Foster effective teamwork and communication with key business partners (i.e. Global Merchandising, Business Unit buying teams, Brand Operations, Product Development, Supply Operations, etc.)

Effectively prioritize and coordinate deadlines with cross-functional partners

The accomplished individual will possess...

1+ year(s) of experience in Planning and/or Buying or closely related finanicial/accounting work.

Additional experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

Retail experience (financial services or consulting applicable).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and comfort working with large amounts of data

Experience with MicroStrategy or other BI reporting tools
