Automotive Deal Costing Specialist, Contract-to-hire, On-site, Great Neck, NY

FlexStaff is seeking an Automotive Deal Costing Specialist to work with one of our clients, a automotive dealership network, located in Great Neck, NY. 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00PM or 9:00AM-5:30PM.

This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent.

Minimum requirements:

• 1–3+ years of dealership accounting/car billing/deal posting experience (new and used) 

• Hands-on DMS experience (posting deals, schedules) 

• Strong understanding of deal jackets, funding, incentives/rebates, taxes/fees, trade payoffs 

• Schedule management and reconciliation (New Car, Used Car, Reserve, COD/Customer Owes)

What You'll Do:

• Cost out and post new and used vehicle deals accurately and on time 

• Review deal jackets for completeness and compliance (incentives, rebates, fees, taxes, payoffs) 

• Verify all funds are received and in-house prior to posting; flag and resolve funding issues 

• Maintain and “clean” related schedules to ensure accuracy and timeliness 

• Reconcile and manage schedules: New Car, Used Car, Reserve, and COD 

• Research and resolve discrepancies with F&I, Sales, Accounting, and Title teams 

• Support month-end close by preparing reconciliations and ensuring deal posting cutoffs 

• Adhere to dealership policies, OEM, and regulatory requirements; maintain organized records 

• Communicate status updates and variances to the Controller and management 

• Participate in training and continuous process improvement initiatives
