Natchaug Hospital is Eastern Connecticut’s leading provider for children, adolescents and adults with mental illness and substance abuse addictions. We offers a variety of programs including inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, residential treatment for court-involved teenage girls, geriatric services, clinical day treatment schools and chemical dependency services. Program Summary

Natchaug's Joshua Center Programs treat children as young as 6 and as old as 17 who are struggling with psychiatric or substance abuse issues, but do not require inpatient care. Services Include: Comprehensive assessment, which may include: Comprehensive aftercare planning, family, group, and individual therapy, occupational and creative rehabilitation therapy. Natchaug Hospital provides transportation from school to the Joshua Center Program, and then to the student’s home.

Job Summary

Lead Behavioral Health Clinician works in coordination with interdisciplinary teams to organize, prepare, and deliver evidence based clinical services in Child/Adolescent Outpatient. Clinical services include individual, group and family therapy.  Maintains ethical principles and professional standards of practice in adherence to the discipline’s professional code of ethics.  Assumes leadership responsibilities as assigned by clinical leadership.  May assume clinical oversight of daily operations in the absence of Program Manager.
