Responsibilities

  • Champion NY Operations’ strategic vision for field engineering excellence.
  • Guide the field engineering team towards a trajectory of continuous improvement, aiming for minimal losses through effective risk partnership with CSTs and clients.
  • Foster the team’s technical expertise and risk communication skills through hands-on coaching and targeted training opportunities.
  • Optimize the return on engineering efforts by managing the team with a focus on efficiency and results.
  • Harness all available resources to empower field engineers in devising and implementing innovative solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Craft, execute, and oversee a field engineering business plan that resonates with our corporate goals and positively influences profitability, customer retention, and new business acquisition.
  • Ensure the team’s objectives are in harmony with account team goals and that changes are adeptly managed at client sites.
  • Uphold the integrity and uniformity of the team’s services, guaranteeing customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality and timely solutions.
  • Safeguard client assets and FM’s interests by ensuring comprehensive identification and evaluation of potential loss scenarios by the team.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in an engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in loss prevention engineering is highly desirable or 2+ years of account engineering experience.
  • A strong technical inclination, especially in managing high-challenge occupancies, is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in dealing with natural hazards, particularly flood risk, is beneficial.
