Niemanns Maintenance Clerk

SUMMARY

The Niemanns Maintenance Clerk is responsible for cleaning and perform light day-to-day repair of general maintenance items. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
• General Cleaning: Empties wastebaskets, cleans restrooms in detail, and replenishes supplies
• Vacuums hallways/offices, sweeps and mops all hard surfaces
• Dusts furniture, blinds, etc.
• Light maintenance work
• Shovels snow, replaces Light bulbs
• Minor repair work, paints, builds shelves
• Operates pallet jack and forklift
• Calls for outside assistance with a repair problem, if needed
• During peak hours, stocks groceries, helps customers, pushes carts
• Follows all store and department policies and procedures
• Follows safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• No prior experience or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to write simple correspondence. 
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)

PAY RANGE (depends on industry experience)

       $16 up to $18/hour (IL Locations Only) 

?Starting pay will be based on experience, internal equity, and scope of responsibility.
