About the Role

The Operations Controller is responsible for the financial aspects of the company's operations. This includes developing and implementing financial plans, budgets, and controls; managing inventory and other assets; and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement 1-3 year financial plans, budgets (headcount, capex and inventory), and controls supporting successful execution of the growth strategy
• Provide monthly, quarterly and annual analysis of financial performance and reports to identify trends, areas for improvement and driving resolutions cross-functionally to correct performance vs plan
• Partner with all functions to complete a 1-3 year capex planning
• Launch process to prioritize capex projects based on IRR, payback periods and alignment to Lambda’s growth objectives
• Partner with sales, marketing product and operations to update revenue, cash and EBITDA outlook for S&OE/S&OP vs financial plans
• Lead allocation of cost to product line level, support product team in completing competitive pricing market analysis and set target pricing by product line to meet Lambda’s profitability goals
• Work closely with engineering and supply chain to complete the annual standards roll as well as monthly PPV reporting
• Review and monitor cycle count process and physical inventories.  Help analyze reports for variances, physical to book inventory variations, and drive corrective actions
• Work with other departments to ensure the smooth operations of the company

You

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a financial or operational role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

Nice to Have

• CPA certification
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems
• Experience with lean manufacturing or other operational improvement methodologies

Salary Range Information 

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $106,000-$155,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
