About the Team

In Card Intelligence, we’re using Machine Learning (ML) to build the future of how we work with our customers across the entire customer lifecycle. As a key player in our Card Machine Learning product team, you’ll collaborate with talented data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy a portfolio of predictive risk models, and at times investigate Generative AI models, to support behavioral and valuations based decisions and outcomes. This role will directly play a role in helping define the types of technologies and experiences our DS and tech teams need to help Capital One build a world class Business Cards & Payments (BC&P) Line of Business, in support of providing services to small business customers. You’ll do this by:

  • Working across teams to build products that enable seamless and scalable models, influence strategic decisions, and contribute to building a thriving product practice in support of our overall Machine Learning capabilities.

  • Partnering with leaders across our BC&P business, data science, and engineering teams to reduce the time it takes to bring models to market through identifying re-usable solution patterns.

  • Delivering machine learning requirements to define new architecture patterns across our Card Intelligence portfolio.
     

As a Product Manager aligned to the the BC&P model team in Card Intelligence, you will:

  • Balance business and technology product requirements to drive consensus across our partners.

  • Use systems thinking to design and deliver machine learning platforms, tools and standards on a cross-functional team

  • Look end-to-end to help drive integration, adoption and scaling of models

  • Help manage prioritization and investment with cross-function teams to balance retraining, refitting, and rebuilding models with operating the current models.

  • Define and operate a product pod across DS and Tech to drive standard agile management practices, while communicating with senior management stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: 

    • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

    • A Master's Degree in
