Our ambition is to continue to grow our life business, and in this context, the French market is key. Our development strategy is based on all protection &amp; health products, with a large customer base including contacts with wholesale brokers.</p><p>In this context, we are looking for a <strong>Pricing Actuary</strong> (or depending on experience Senior Pricing Actuary) to join our <strong>French market team</strong>, reporting to the Head of Pricing France Life &amp; Health, who can bring experience in product development. You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development of our pricing team and the wider enhancement of PartnerRe’s Life &amp; Health propositions.<strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Your responsibilities will include</strong>:</p><ul><li>Active involvement in the tender process for new and existing opportunities, collaborating with the Commercial Team and Medical Underwriters.</li><li>Product development, in particular, perform pricing, find optimal segmentations and assist the Commercial Team to answer technical requests from clients</li><li>Pricing of reinsurance treaties (proportional and non-proportional) with frequent exchanges with the Commercial Team and the Medical Underwriters.</li><li>Conduct actuarial studies and experience analysis to improve our internal benchmarks. Go through approval process with the Central Pricing Team and share the findings with Reserving.</li><li>Maintain and improve pricing tools for the French market.</li><li>Accompany and support the Commercial Team at client meetings.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>About you:</strong></p><p>You seek challenges and are driven by a desire to add value and continuously improve.  You come with proven industry knowledge of France, a strategic market for PartnerRe. </p><p>You are a technically excellent actuary with a commercial sense.</p><p>You will bring expertise in protection product design and pricing.</p><p>Moreover, you have the following background and skills:</p><ul><li>Qualified actuary with (re-)insurance pricing, product development and portfolio analysis experience. Experience in direct insurance product development would be a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of individual protection products in France, ideally of self-employed products (TNS).</li><li>Technical skills are needed to analyze and visualize data. Full proficiency in Excel and R is needed. Knowledge of Moody’s AXIS is a plus.</li><li>Self-motivated
