Cybersecurity Specialist

The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a cleared Cybersecurity Specialist.  This role is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the security posture of networks, servers, endpoints, and other systems.

Primary responsibilities include:

• POA&Ms and vulnerability management
• Security diagrams and Systems Security Plan management
• Protecting, configuring and managing servers and computers systems
• Installing software and system patches
• Support of network infrastructure design, routed data protocols, and hardware platforms
• Work with Leidos IT teams to support WAN and LAN, routing, switching, and firewalls
• Security device architecture, engineering, and installation/management 
• Work with Leidos IT teams in support of Cisco switches and Palo Alto Firewalls 
• Applies knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic qualifications:

• US citizenship is required per contract.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• At least one year of experience with computer and network management
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure design, routed data protocols, and hardware platforms
• Knowledge of WAN and LAN, routing, switching, and firewalls
• Knowledge in Windows Operating systems
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Possess effective communication skills and be able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced dynamic work environment

Preferred qualifications:

• Willingness to get CISSP certification when qualified

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
