Location: Newark (Hybrid working)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive plus pension, healthcare and up to 10% bonus

The role:
Provide strong financial insight into areas of improvement, focussing on margin growth, with clear understanding of new launches and product development, commodity price recovery, growth models and cost improvement plans · Ownership of reporting requests e.g. over-rider submissions and commodity models, understanding the accruals required and reconciliations · Drive efficiency projects across the team to ensure better ways of working and processes are correct across the Sector
Duties will include:
- accurately complete various overrider models in place with customers to understand the accruals required and ensure these are reflected accurately in the forecast view
- full ownership of live commodity models, updating with volumes and understanding price fluctuation impact on the EBITDA of the business, ensuring visibility of price changes for commodities not covered by models
- support the Commercial Accountants Assistant in preparing the MSP reconciliation for the sector on a monthly basis, ensuring its accuracy for reporting
- lead ad hoc analysis such as tail reviews, understanding standard resets and ensure Commercial have clarity around financial impact and actions
- attend weekly S&OP meetings for specific sites
- drive efficiency through the team by identifying areas of improvement and leading these to ensure strong results in ways of working
- support the Commercial Accountant and Financial Controller in ad hoc tasks and reporting
About You:
You will have a good understanding of Commercial principles such as MSPs, margin, mix, forecasting etc and experience in Commercial modelling such as overrider/rebate accruals, commodity tracking,
