Principal Software Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of engineers to deliver engineering results that are well aligned with business goals. 
• Define and communicate the technical vision and roadmap for the team and ensure alignment with Microsoft's overall strategy and goals.   
• Partner with other teams and stakeholders across Microsoft to understand their needs and requirements, and to deliver solutions that enable and enhance their scenarios.   
• Drive technical excellence and quality across M365 Core and ensure their team adherence to engineering standards and processes.   
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the industry and identify and evaluate new opportunities and technologies for M365 Core and their team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experience as technical lead or engineering manager, with proficiency in cloud computing and distributed systems.
