About the team

Angi’s Finance team is seeking a Director of Finance.  As a Finance leader, you will play an integral role in providing strategic financial advice and maintaining financial discipline for Angi’s Ads & Leads business. 

You will work cross-functionally across departments including category management, sales, product, marketing, and operations to provide critical financial support that empowers our business leaders to make sound decisions.

This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Finance, with significant partnership with other team leaders.

What you’ll do

• Develop the Finance team’s ability to iterate on complex financial models and analyses for the Ads and Leads businesses 
• Enable and contribute to effective decision-making regarding revenue growth strategy, cost structure, and capital allocation in order to shape the strategic direction of the businesses
• Analyze, interpret, and present relevant financial data and key business metrics to leadership
• Proactively build, manage, and run a reporting system that delivers accurate financials to stakeholders and provides ability to course correct in an efficient and measurable way
• Prepare and coordinate the annual and monthly forecasting process
• Report on and create a narrative around financials & metrics on a weekly and monthly basis
• Prioritize, prepare, and deliver financial analysis and support to key stakeholders in a timely manner; clearly articulate timelines & deadlines to relevant parties
• Work on special projects and ad hoc analyses as determined by senior leadership
• Own and drive continuous improvements to Finance’s reporting and planning tools – help deepen the financial bridge between Ads and Leads and other parts of Angi

Who you are

• 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A. Experience in investment banking and/or private equity a plus
• 4+ years of experience managing an FP&A team
• Proficient in financial analysis, financial modeling and problem-solving
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and projections
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and resourceful
• Functional knowledge of financial reporting and accounting
• Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
• Go-getter mentality, a “no job too big or small” attitude
• Team leader with exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships
• Experience with Excel a must, NetSuite/Vena a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• The salary band for this position ranges $150,000 to $200,000 commensurate with experience and performance
• This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
