Internship in Customer portal team

As a Technical Intern, you will:

-Assist in developing and maintaining web and mobile applications using Java and Angular -Work with REST APIs to integrate backend services with frontend and mobile application -Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality software -Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend and backend developers, project managers and product managers -Research and propose technical solutions to enhance application performance and scalability -Contribute to writing documentation and unit tests for developed features -Gain experience in Agile methodologies and participate in team meetings

 

Profile

We are looking for a candidate who:

-Is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field -Has basic experience or coursework in Java, Angular, and REST APIs -Understands object-oriented programming and design patterns -Has familiarity with Git and version control systems -Is eager to learn, proactive, and has strong problem-solving skills -Has good communication skills and enjoys working in a team -Speaks French and English with a good level  

Nice-to-Have

-Familiarity with SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server) -Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices -Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure)

 

Team

-Customer portal team is part of Digitalization & IT CMO, department from the IT Flat Europe organization -Team is composed of ~10 people in Europe (8 in Florange, France) and ~20 people in India working in onshore / offshore model -Team is senior with several experienced people in Europe (with more than 10 years of experience in the context of the application, in different roles as project managers, product owners, architects or IT & business analysts) -Location for the internship is Florange for Europe to be close to the major part of the team located in Europe
