What does our Sales & Marketing Client Experience team do?
Franklin Templeton’s Sales and Marketing Client Experience team optimizes business processes and experiences for our sales and marketing teams to facilitate collaboration, planning and information exchange across our technology platforms. We are seeking a Lead Sales Experience Specialist to join our growing team and work directly with global sales teams to develop best-in-class processes at scale. Business process modelling, consulting and a keen interest in technology platforms are desirable skills. Understanding Franklin Templeton’s product offerings, sales processes (retail and institutional), possessing client-first focus and strong influencing will be essential skills.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Lead Sales Experience Specialist?
You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Client Services and Franklin Templeton Technology to develop and implement critical business processes for key user personas that can be incorporated into our sales technology platforms:
Leverage your background in sales to develop business processes for sales that minimize manual work, reduce friction and maximize the use of technology platforms and data
Play a senior role in collaborating with global sales teams to understand and document their pain points with process, data and technology
Influence our technology partners and application owners to ensure that the technology solutions reflect our best-in-class business processes and user journeys
Devise ways of tracking and measuring our best-in-class processes to ensure that we are continuously improving the end user experiences
Review and respond appropriately to internal partner inquiries
What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
Bachelor’s degree required with experience in finance and/or technology
Strong understanding of Franklin Templeton sales processes, product suite and/or technology platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to effectively convey ideas and strategies to a broad range of stakeholders is critical
Highly collaborative and able to work effectively in a team environment
Intellectual curiosity with respect to Finance, Technology, Data and/or AI
Self-driven with ability to manage key internal and external relationships at all levels of the organization and bring empathy, thought-leadership and a win-win mindset
Strong listening and critical-thinking skills and an ability to quickly diagnose a problem and devise creative business and technology solutions
Comfortable working in ambiguous situations where the right outcomes are not obvious
