Our students use that to improve cities across the globe, in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

NYU Wagner currently has a full-time opportunity for a researcher to participate in a series of studies and reports about the New York State health care system, social determinants of health, and Medicaid innovation.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide general research support

• Manage and analyze data/graphics using STATA software and Excel

• Conduct systematic literature reviews for research projects

• Use survey data, publicly available government data, and claims data

• Summarize project results

• Write, review, and edit various materials for publication

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• Demonstrated experience conducting quantitative research, including statistical analysis and data visualization

• Proficiency with STATA and Excel; familiarity with R or Python is a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Posting Range: 

NYU Wagner provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400 - $70,000 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
