CTS Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

The CTS Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the safe operating condition of our Contract Transportation Systems (CTS) trailer fleet.
The CTS trailer maintenance technician is required to meet productivity requirements and must be an individual who works effectively and efficiently with little supervision.

Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 6:00am

Shift Differential: $0.75

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. • Welding (steel stick arc welding, aluminum welding, use of acetylene torch, replacement of bumpers)
• Wall replacements and repairs
• Door repairs and replacements
• Frame and sub frame
• Electrical (light wiring including interior lights, troubleshoot/repair electrical shorts, lift gate motors)
• Air system
• Brake system
• Tires
• Lift Gates
• Dollies
• Yard truck inspections and PMs along with as necessary repair work

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of auto-mechanic

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the following areas: Welding, Electrical, Air Systems, and Tires
• Experience with lift gates
• Post secondary education
• Technical certifications related to auto mechanics
