Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.

We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About the role

The Director of Retail Execution is responsible for ensuring the effective development and implementation of retail execution strategies to meet company goals. In this role, you’ll lead strategic planning and operational management to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining excellent service standards. Key areas of responsibilities include collaborating with senior management to align retail operations with overall business objectives, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures across all U.S. retail locations and leading and mentoring a team of regional or customer managers.

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of retail stores to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Working internally with retail teams to ensure we build execution culture within Reckitt with respective stakeholders
  • Set performance goals and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress
  • Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure standards are met
  • Lead performance meetings and reviews with Brokers
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance
  • Manage budgets and financial plans for retail operations
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions
  • Negotiate with brokers to ensure the best terms and conditions
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the shopping experience

The experience we're looking for

  • 9+ years of experience with retail management in DSD organizations, ideally in Consumer and/or Health industries
  • 4 years college degree required, MBA degree preferred
  • Must have strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
