Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will oversee the organization's general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. You will collaborate closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller on a variety of monthly accounting tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
What You’ll Do:
· Oversee the organization’s general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
· Lead initiatives to improve processes, particularly in streamlining key reconciliations and enhancing month-end close activities.
· Manage a wide range of accounting functions—from revenue and commission processing to asset and liability schedules—ensuring accuracy and completeness of all related accounts.
· Ensure financial reporting is accurate, complete, and compliant with US GAAP and other regulatory standards.
· Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financial statements are finalized accurately and promptly.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial information, identifying areas for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
· Provide support during the external audit process, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to audit requirements.

· Independently identifying and resolving accounting issues, demonstrating ownership of your accounts.
· Recognizing inefficiencies in current processes and proposing actionable improvements.
· Actively seeking opportunities to mitigate financial risks and improve overall accounting practices.
What You Need:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with significant exposure to general ledger management, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
· CPA designation (or in progress) preferred.
· Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and financial reporting regulations.
· Proficiency with leading ERP syste
