IT Security Support Engineer

The primary responsibilities of this position include assistance to our IT team and Security Operations Manager with security related tasks and other IT tasks for our 30+ office locations throughout the USA and Madrid, Spain. Successful candidates shall be detail oriented, trustworthy, have a positive attitude, and be self- motivated with the willingness to learn and continue building their knowledge. 

Specific Duties/Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

·         Provide assistance with day-to-day management of LaBellas’ ISMS (Information Security Management System).

·         Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems, in compliance with LaBella security protocols.

·         Manage our monitoring and log collection software.

·         Manage the NAC (network access control) system.

·         Perform scheduled security duties, regular reviews of reports, alerts and alarms

·         Document the security systems and train backup staff on security activities

·         Perform vulnerability scans

·         Respond to issues raised in vulnerability scans and perform remediations

·         Oversee vendors performing penetration tests or other security activities

·         Implement various aspects of our security program

Requirements

·         5 years of experience in the IT field.

·         At least one Microsoft certification.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred

·         Experience with DHCP, DNS, Wireless, Switching, VPN and general network connectivity technologies.

·         Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and document complex systems.

·         Familiarity with ISMS concepts and general IT security principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         A security certification of some type.

·         Experience with ManageEngine platform (Log 360, EventLog Analyzer, AD Audit).

·         Experience with NAC systems.

·         Experience remediating published CVE vulnerabilities

Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
