Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Utilities Craftsperson. You will be responsible for maintenance activity for Site Utilities which includes utilities and waste water treatment across the site.

This is a 12 month fixed term contact.

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:

Lead and provide on-going coaching and support to the utility team in resolving operational issues.

• Be an active participant within the Engineering team
• Ensure supply of high quality product through equipment availability, maximise performance of Utility equipment and identify / implement continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Sound Engineering maintenance stewardship,
• Ensure highest Quality & Compliance standards.
• Attending daily Tier meetings.
• Carry out of day to day maintenance activity as part of the utility team.
• Partaking in training and upskilling.
• Completes weekly tasks of utility craftperson and ensures follow-up actions are completed.
• Plays a role in energy management on site.
• Accountable for reporting EHS Incidents, Quality Incidents and supporting relevant HazOp.studies and risk assessments.
• Responsible for maintaining and operation of site utility systems.
• Promoting EHS Standards.

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• > 5 years experience operational experience in a utilities environment with experience in at least one of the following: mechanical maintenance and utility management, Waste water treatment,
• Maintenance background: the successful candidate will understand how to support site maintenance activity
• Demonstrated ability to realize improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated successes in a team environment, such as project teams, 
• Demonstrated high level of problem solving and facilitation skills.
• PC skills such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience with Management Systems such as PM, EHS, PRINCE, Microsoft PM etc.
• Detailed plant and equipment knowledge of Clean / Black utilities and Waste water treatment systems.
• Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and effectively manage time, meet deadlines and produce quality deliverables.
