Location: Preferably located near Philadelphia. Hybrid or home-based opportunities can also be considered.

 

The iTwin + Cesium Platform team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform team to support the adoption of iTwin and Cesium by Bentley's first-party products, who are our marquee customers. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll closely collaborate with Product Advancement Group and Seequent teams to define integration architectures, support adoption, share knowledge, and unblock any integration challenges by facilitating expert help from Platform. 

 

What you’ll do:

 

• Collaborate with the product teams to understand integration requirements and assist adoption.
• Define and prototype the critical path to high-value, low-effort MVPs that paint the long-term technical architecture and vision for the product teams.
• Accelerate adoption by facilitating architecture discussions and contributing software improvements to both platform and products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring the right priorities are maintained for impact and adoption.
• Transparently document integration processes, best practices, feedback, challenges, and FAQs for repeatable adoption success.
• Communicate the value of the Platform in solving industry-specific challenges grounded in authentic education and technical fundamentals.

 

What we’re looking for:

 

• 10+ years of experience in an outward-facing technical role working with different products and/or customers. Experience with iTwin, Cesium, AEC applications, 3D, and/or platform software is a plus.
• Fantastic communicator and creditable in front of varying levels of stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in C++ and JavaScript.
• Proven ability to solve complex challenges and architecting systems to showcase value.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).
