CRISP Shared Services (CSS) serves as the technology partner for health information exchange (HIE) affiliates in Maryland, DC, West Virginia, Connecticut, Alaska, and Virginia. CSS facilitates the electronic transfer of clinical information between disparate information systems to positively impact the healthcare system through improved patient care and outcomes, reduced costs, and data-driven understanding of regional public health concerns.


Job Description

The Project Manager- Reporting and Analytics will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements for clinical data reports (including ADT, CCDs, and Labs). This includes developing report designs, coordinating with stakeholders and teams, and defining the necessary data for each report. In addition to scoping these requirements, the Project Manager will lead the entire project through the implementation phase. The ideal candidate will excel in both verbal and written communication, demonstrate a strong attention to detail, and possess the ability to effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders. They will also be skilled in managing competing priorities and proactively identifying and resolving issues. 

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, document detailed business requirements, and create technical specifications tailored to clinical reporting initiatives.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including consumer representatives, to ensure implemented solutions align with business needs and expectations.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of clinical report implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals.
  • Scope and implement data feeds, collaborating with stakeholders across multiple teams to ensure successful integration and functionality. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of data sources and reporting use cases to support transparency and consistency.
  • Develop user-facing documentation for reports in collaboration with stakeholders and analytics teams.
  • Coordinate process improvement efforts across multiple teams especially as is relates to data quality and ensuring accurate reports.
  • Streamline processes across teams to improve data flow and ensure efficient workflows for developing clinical reports.

Required Skills

  • Strong project management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple job duties, including personal time management and organization skills
  • Able to employ critical thinking skills and work independently while also working well within a team environment
  • Demonstrates a sense of ownership or responsibility for assigned systems and their uptime
  • Provide outstanding, customer service focused assistance to all internal and external customers
  • Strong quantitative and analytical ability
  • Familiarity with report design and development process

Preferred Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate level)
  • Familiarity with PowerBI, Tableau or other visualization tools

Experience and/or Education Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MPH or MHA preferred
  • 3+ years of project management experience in either reporting/analytics, technology or healthcare fields.

Compensation and Benefits Package

  • Targeted base salary: 85k - 98k per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus benefits and bonuses.
  • Benefits include the following but are not limited to health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance. CSS also has a 403(b) plan with discretionary employer match and contributions. You will be eligible for 20 days of Paid Time Off per year (accrued in accordance with CSS’s policies). PTO is in addition to 8 company designated holidays. If you are not PTO eligible, you may be eligible for applicable state and/or local sick and safe leave in accordance with the provisions of any applicable state and/or local sick and safe leave laws.
