Job Description

As an IV Nurse with VIC the PICC, you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting. If you are looking for a change and tired of 12 hours on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality care, this would be the perfect opportunity for you. Our nurses have the time and a balanced schedule to build strong one-on-one relationships with your patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Place PIV lines and assist with management of vascular access devices

• Provide a wide range of infusion therapies for patients

• Troubleshoot IV pumps

• Educate nursing staff regarding PICC lines and IV access devices

• In this role, you will be visiting patients in different facilities. You must be willing and able to travel up to 40 miles each way for patient visits

On-call requirements:

• Minimum of 10 cases per month

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license

• Minimum 3 years nursing experience

• Must currently be placing PIV lines (multiple time a day)

• Current CPR certification

• Possess a current and valid driver's license and auto insurance

• Must have smart phone
