The Role

As a Security Architect, you will lead the design and deployment of advanced cybersecurity solutions, with a focus on Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access and SASE technologies. You’ll play a key role in large-scale implementations, guide internal teams, and help shape secure, scalable architectures for high-impact clients across industries.

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Deploy and Configure Prisma Access components including Global Protect, gateways, portals, customer certificates and Prisma Access Enterprise Browser.
  • Develop and Deliver Palo Alto training materials.
  • Integrate Prisma Access with identity providers (IdPs) and SIEM/SOAR platforms.
  • Setup routing, VPNs, and firewall policies within Prisma Access.
  • Engage with Clients to understand requirements and tailor Prisma Access deployments.
  • Document and grow internal methods of procedures (MOP) to better future deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Designing and Architecting Palo Alto Networks SASE Solutions.
  • Work with teams to Deploy complex Prisma solutions in a large-scale environment.
  • Troubleshoot problems that may arise during or after a SASE implementation.
  • Train internal teams to build knowledge and skillset around Palo Alto offerings.

Palo Alto Implementation & Security Operations:

  • Initial Setup: Configure tenants, regions, and bandwidth allocations.
  • Policy Configuration: Define security, decryption, and access policies.
  • User Access: Set up Global Protect for remote users and configure authentication.
  • Integration: Connect with cloud services (AWS, Azure), on-prem networks, and third-party tools.
  • Testing: Conduct functional and performance testing before go-live.
  • Go-Live & Support: Monitor deployment, fine-tune policies, and provide ongoing support.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years of experience in network security, cloud security, and SSE/SASE implementations.
  • Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access, Strata Firewalls, and Global Protect.
  • Strong knowledge of ZTNA, SWG, CASB, FWaaS, and cloud security architectures


Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Experience with multi-cloud security integrations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Certifications such as Palo Alto Networks PCNSA, PCNSE, CISSP, CCSP, or CISM.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $138,480 to $263,160 based on a full-time schedule.
