Join IFS.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The Junior Human Resources Generalist - HR-Administrator provides operational HR support for DACH (Germany and Switzerland) and is a conduit between local HR and the HRSSC team in Sri Lanka. The Junior Human Resources Generalist - HR-Administrator will help to deliver a seamless employee experience and ensure that our company values are embedded in everything we do.</p><p>The role is an excellent HR entry position for a possible development to a HR Business Partner role. We are very happy to support you in your professional development.</p><p><strong>Tasks include but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Coordination of on- and offboarding activities for DACH employees, including but not limited to: organising on-boarding meetings for new employees, organising day one location with line manager’s input, maintaining on-boarding checklists, assigning mentors/buddies, issuing on-boarding emails relating to induction and e-learning, verification of documents for new employees.</li><li>Quality checking data in HR system (IFS Thor), highlighting any inconsistencies in data to the HR Shared Services team to rectify issues as they come to light, e.g. incorrect reporting lines, incorrect job titles, etc.</li><li>Preparing testimonials for current employees and leavers with support from line managers.</li><li>Maintaining and updating local HR user guides and SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) to support consistent delivery of services at all times.</li><li>Contribute towards region’s continuous improvement of local process maps and HR operational processes, where applicable.</li><li>Work on global HR projects supporting HR Services Specialist UK and Global HR Shared Services Senior Lead.</li><li>Assisting local payroll with ad hoc basic tasks from time to time.</li><li>Organising physical storage of personal file in the HR office.</li><li>Creating IT tickets and follow up as required relating to on-boarding, employee changes and off-boarding to support local HR colleagues.</li><li>Scheduling feedback meetings for colleagues with their managers / HRBPs such as exit interview, probation completions, etc.</li><li>Maintain local HR company intranet (MyIFS).</li><li>Collaborating with Marketing to maintain sites such as IFS Kununu, XING, LinkedIn.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><u><strong>*PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A MATERNITY COVER ROLE FOR 1-2 YEARS. YOU WILL NEED TO BE OFFICE BASED IN ERLANGEN AT LEAST 2-3 DAYS A WEEK.</strong></u></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>2+ years’ experience working in HR Administration or HR Operational roles.</li><li>University Degree in HR Administration / HR Management or a completed professional training (e.g. Personalfachkaufmann/-kauffrau) is essential.</li><li>Strong desire to continue to pursue and excel in a HR career.</li><li>Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively with colleagues across Germany and Switzerland to resolve queries/ issues.</li><li>Experience working with HR Software and some technical abilities is a plus</li><li>A team player and strong collaborator, comfortable in peer reviewing effectively.</li><li>Good working knowledge of MS Office (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook).</li><li>Language skills:<ul><li><strong>Native German language essential</strong>, both oral and written.</li><li><strong>Strong communication skills in English</strong>, both oral and written.</li></ul></li><li>Comfortable running HR reports from HR platforms.</li><li>Evidence of self-motivation and a proactive approach.</li
