Reporting to the Sr. Design Services Manager, the Senior Graphic Designer is a full time, exempt position, and is responsible for the design and development of effective visual presentations in collaboration with IMS Trial Consultants.
The successful candidate will be creative, analytical, efficient, and have strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
Location (Where will you be working?)
- This position is 100% remote that supports east to west coast time zones.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure Design Quality and Excellence
Project team leadership
- Act as Creative Lead (CL) on large and high stakes litigation
- Partner with Trial Consultants on case direction and design needs
- Contribute to conceptual and creative case development
- Establish and manage PPT templates
- Establish and manage case artwork library
- Provide design direction to other designers
- Provide production estimates for defined scope-of-work
Create graphics and illustrations for complex projects that convey key case themes
- Interpret data and translate it in a visually appealing solution
- Construct illustrations that adhere to graphic styles and IMS design principles
- Prepare documents for slide presentation
Quality control (QC)
- Consistently create high-quality work
- Adhere to IMS QC guidelines to ensure quality and accuracy of work product
- Evaluate colleague work product and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in design reviews
External client interaction
- Attend client meetings independently or with other team members
- Interact with clients, independently or with other team members, in war room settings
- 25% travel requirement for onsite graphics support
Communication and Department Contributions
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Develop on thought leadership content such as articles and podcasts
- Assist in proposal/pitch content development as needed
- Actively participate in department and company activities and committees
- Lead small to large process improvement initiatives
- Serve as mentor/trainer to junior team members
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Advanced understanding of software (PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite) related to discipline or area of focus
- Ability to create designs that balance message clarity, stylistic consistency, and artistic judgment
- Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, thoroughness, and quality towards tasks/goals
- Ability to proactively troubleshoot and problem solve creatively, effectively, and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong client-service mindset is essential
- Ability to independently manage time and balance priorities when performing ongoing projects often under tight time constraints
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to new tasks
- Ability to provide clear direction and be willing to share and receive constructive feedback
- Consistently demonstrate an openness to assume additional responsibilities, and pitch in wherever needed
- Ability to work late nights/weekends
- Ability to travel on short notice
EDUCATION & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–7 years of relevant design experience (including information graphic design)
- Ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and be flexible in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to adapt to a wide range of department tools, resources, and software
- Excellent time and project management skills with high attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe
