Our community continues to grow rapidly. We are looking for a passionate, experienced community wizard to lead the charge. The candidate MUST absolutely live, breathe, and sleep financial markets. The candidate must also be super passionate about building communities and have a proven track record in doing so.  

 

The Role 

In this role, you will be responsible for growing, fostering, and managing the Stocktwits community. You will act as an internal and external advocate for the Stocktwits community. You will report directly to the President & GM. 

 

What You’ll Do 

• Set the vision for what the best investing community should look like. Ensure Stocktwits provides the content, conversation, and insights that attract investors of all skill levels and investing styles.  
• Build and manage relationships with influencers and financial media personalities. 
• Communicate insights and trends from our communities to external stakeholders such as financial media personalities and B2B partners. 
• Create and maintain a welcoming environment that members can trust, enjoy, and recommend to others. 
• Act as a voice of the Community by communicating feedback and member problems internally to help identify and build key supporting features/functionality. 
• Drive key Community metrics such as user engagement, retention, and user satisfaction.  

• Monitor the community and conversations to keep negative actors out and foster best practices for existing members.    
• Lead the promotion and execution of in-person and virtual community events.  
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

What You’ll Need 

• Proven track record of scaling and fostering online communities.  
• Passion for financial markets and various areas of investing. Knowledge of trading and technical analysis would be a strong plus. 
• Experience in collaborating with influencers and financial media personalities. 
• Experience detecting and mitigating spam and other online vulnerabilities. Ability to review sensitive content and demonstrate good judgment in resolving issues and representing a brand. 
• Desire to creatively engage and grow an existing organic community. 
• Ability to triage and escalate issues as needed. 
• Well-versed in social media platforms, techniques and methods. 
• Organizational and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to balance numerous projects while meeting tight deadlines. 
• Attention to detail.  
• Effective interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships and working collaboratively both internally and externally. 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. 
• Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills (grammar & syntax). 
• Willing to join meetings or take calls outside of normal business hours.
