Quality Analyst

HORIBA is a global group of companies that develops, manufactures and provides an extensive array of analytical and measurement equipment to countries around the world. HORIBA Instruments Inc., a leading manufacturer of scientific instruments has an immediate opening for a Quality Analyst in our Piscataway, New Jersey location. The ideal candidate will be well experienced in Data Analytical techniques and will be able to lead cross-functional initiatives that will improve the overall Quality of our products and processes. This position will also be responsible for ensuring compliance to regulatory directives, as well as managing Quality Key Performance Indicators. 

 

Responsibilities include:

• Maintains and Manages Quality Key Performance Indicator reports; identifies trends, suggests solutions and improvements
• Completes Quality Internal Audits 
• Drives both Internal and External Corrective Actions within a variety of settings, including Internal, External, Supplier and Affiliate Corrective Actions; Performs root cause analysis as needed; manages Corrective action system database
• Ensures compliance to internal regulatory and Quality systems; Calibrated instruments and Training programs
• Implements and improves procedures to increase process efficiency, reduce costs and improve quality throughout the organization
   
   

Requirements include:

 • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in relative Business Administration
 • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
 • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
 • 1 to 3 years of experience working in a quality or equivalent role within a manufacturing environment
 • Knowledge of ISO 9001 concepts
 • Must have excellent Communication skills

 • Must have excellent spreadsheet skills

• Must be able to work independently and produce on-time deliverables
 • Must be able to multi task with excellent follow-through skills
 • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
 Desired Skills
 • Some knowledge of managing databases is a plus ( Microsoft Access)
 • Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus
 • Knowledge of SAP/Salesforce is a plus
• Knowledge of Statistics and Statistical Process Control preferred
