We are currently searching for a talented Civil Engineer V to join our growing practice in Omaha, Nebraska!

Your options as a civil engineer are endless at SEH. You’ll engineer better communities -- complete streets, safer sidewalks, more sustainable utilities, and trails and parks. Others specialize in large-scale projects, like flood control facilities, dams, landfills, harbors/marinas, structural retaining walls and larger geotechnical projects. Regardless of the project, you’ll have your hands in the mix through all phases of a project: planning, pre-design, design, contract documentation, bidding and construction. • Partner with business development staff to present proposals to clients, interview for projects, and select project teams that align with our successful strategy
• Prepare project approaches, scopes and fees required to complete projects
• Collaborate with variety of disciplines with SEH to solve challenges and provide solutions
• Mentor junior level staff to help foster a positive team environment
• Represent SEH with local governments, municipalities and other agencies at project and public meetings

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Nebraska or ability to become registered
• Experience in project management and client management; demonstrated ability to lead development of new business opportunities and win project proposals

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ten (10)+ years of previous experience in the Civil Engineering field managing projects, leading development of new business opportunities, and winning project proposals
• Experience supervising and managing staff

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $125,000 and $145,000
