Partner Engagement Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Partner Engagement Specialist to support the piloting and field testing of accounts and strategically assigned partner/prospective partner accounts of Discovery Education’s products and services across the United States. This role is high visibility and involves frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Teaching & Learning, to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of our products.
The Partner Engagement Specialist will be client-facing, responsible for building strong relationships with customers and internal partners and providing ongoing education and support to meet agreed success criteria.
In This Role You Will:
• Design, execute, and complete piloting/field testing of accounts to ensure services are active and ready to implement as soon as possible, according to contract and pilot parameters
• Support strategically assigned partner/prospective partner accounts of Discovery Education’s bookbag of products and services from districts across the United States
• Track and record customer activity promptly in systems of record (e.g., Gainsight, Salesforce, etc.)
• Continuously monitor respective product usage for both teachers and students to help provide the necessary support throughout the lifecycle of the pilot/field test
• Provide and maintain ongoing customer education and support, and best practice recommendations to ensure customers continue to meet agreed success criteria according to pilot/field test parameters
• Build relationships with customers and internal partners
• Develop pilot ‘Play Books’ within Gainsight to guide the pilot(s) to utilize the product to its full capability during the pilot period, ensuring a successful handoff upon adoption/purchase of the product(s)
• Learn about Discovery Education, the team, and associated tools to enable success in your role
• Build and present a Discovery Education implementation story, as needed or necessary, using data and insights, often working with Teaching & Learning team
• Provide input and ideas to internal teams to continuously improve our product, systems and resources

Credentials and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or similar work experience
• 3+ years customer enablement/engagement/success
• SaaS customer success, consulting experience, account management or sales organization experience serving organizations in the education sector
• Experience with virtual webinar technology strongly preferred (Zoom, Google Meet)
• Strong Microsoft Office capabilities: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Legal right to work in the United States
This role will sit in our Charlotte HQs with a hybrid work schedule.
