Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Full-time Mechanical Engineer for Crew Systems. In this role, you will research, define, analyze, develop, design, provide technical supplier management, test, and qualify aircraft escape and life support systems. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of troubleshooting and system engineering to assist in maintenance and delivery of effective technical data.
Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree.
- Experience/Coursework in mechanical design
- Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Desired skills
- Highly motivated individual with the ability to learn continuously and the ability to identify multiple avenues to successfully reach team goals.
- Candidate must work well individually and with team members across multiple organizations.
- Ability to develop clear technical presentations for customers and suppliers.
- Microsoft Office Skills - of particular importance: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project.
