Job Description

Hours: 7:00am to 7:30pm

The Intake RN-Behavioral Health Intake reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Assists in the assessment of patients entering the hospital system for mental health and chemical dependency services, taking into consideration the special needs and behaviors of the specific age of the unit population.

Qualifications

Must be Registered Nurse in Illinois.  3 to 5 years Psychiatric Nursing experience required. Intake referral experience preferred. Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers) required.
