Global Engineering Business Partner OpU (m/f/d)

As the strategic interface between Global Engineering and Operating Unit (OpU) leadership you ensure engineering initiatives are aligned with business objectives and executed effectively across pharmaceutical manufacturing sites within one designated OpU.
 

Your Responsibilities
 

• Act as primary engineering advisor to OpU leadership, translating business needs into engineering strategies

• Lead CAPEX planning and execution for the assigned OpU, ensuring harmonization of equipment and infrastructure in cooperation with Global Engineering

• Coordinate engineering activities across multiple sites within the OpU to ensure consistency and compliance

• Monitor and improve engineering KPIs such as OEE, MTBF, and energy efficiency

• Ensure GMP, EHS, and regulatory compliance across all engineering operations

• Drive sustainability initiatives including energy management and
  environmental impact reduction

• Promote adoption of digital tools for predictive maintenance and asset management

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain

• Represent engineering in OpU governance and strategic planning forums

• Lead engineering talent development and succession planning

Your Qualifications
 

• Master’s degree in engineering, pharmaceutical technology, or a related field

• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical engineering, with global or multisite responsibilities

• Proven track record in CAPEX execution, equipment implementation, and regulatory compliance

• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and intercultural communication skills

• Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French) are a plus
