Non OSU Student Assistant

The student assistant will be developing new lung models for Cystic Fibrosis research project. They will help develop PCLS (Precision Cut Lung Slices) model and lung explants that will be obtained from mice and human discarded lungs. They will also be involved with assays to determine the viability of the cells (LDH assay) and identify the cell types (immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, and PCR). 

Additional Information:

Minimum Qualifications:

Student assistant with some lab experience including cell culture. 

Desired Qualifications:

Student assistant with lab experience including PCR techniques, cell culture, and knowledge about the Cystic Fibrosis field.
