General Summary
As a Senior Revenue Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role in aligning sales operations with financial objectives across the Peaksware brands. You will be responsible for analyzing sales data, optimizing processes and systems, and collaborating closely with finance and sales to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of sales operations, financial principles, and data analysis/reporting.
You will sit directly with the Finance and Data teams and will report to the VP of Finance.
Core Functions:
- Partner with finance, sales and marketing leadership to develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and revenue projections.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and provide actionable insights to both sales and finance teams to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance to manage commission structures, ensure timely and accurate commission payouts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure CRM data (e.g., Salesforce) aligns with financial systems and reporting requirements, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Generate sales and financial performance reports and dashboards for senior leadership, providing insights on revenue trends, profitability, and growth opportunities.
- Support the annual and quarterly planning processes by coordinating sales inputs for financial models and budgets.
- Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and workflows, and implement improvements to streamline operations and financial alignment.
- Monitor key financial metrics, including revenue, profit margins, and cost of sales, to identify risks and opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between the sales and finance teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration on shared initiatives.
- Support other ad hoc financial analysis and data analysis opportunities, including M&A, at the discretion of your manager and needs of the business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in revenue operations or a related data field
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales operations, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), financial tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, NetSuite) and data reporting tools (Sigma, Tableau).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and at the executive level
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives.

Compensation:
Peaksware/MakeMusic is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Colorado is $79,022 - $131,704. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
This role is eligible for variable compensation, including bonus.
